Metal studs are the vertical pieces and metal track is the horizontal part that the metal studs fit into. i made a framework of studs and track that was the size of the floor of the shed. i placed studs every 24 inches in the track. because it was a floor system, i put double studs in, back to back. this increased the strength of the floor system..
