Whenever you can build a shed, you’ve got it made... they’re small houses and they can be used for storage, and they can be used for little places to be. as soon as you capture some space and design how the shape of it is, moods start occurring, light starts playing on the wall, and just to see it happening is unbelievable! [laughs.]. Tried my hand at building a barn/shed. got the plans from shedking and they were great. had to dig out about 10 yards of wood chips. the previous house owners just shredded a bunch of trees after they were cut down, so finding dirt took some time.. 635 votes and 68 comments so far on reddit.

Buying shed from a “shed” company advantages. time a huge advantage of buying a pre-built shed is time. it’s already built! all you have to do is prepare a foundation for it to sit on, schedule delivery and fill it up. it may be ready to deliver the day you buy it, or it could take a couple of weeks.. Windows took extra measuring because i couldn’t find shed windows that matched plans. ended up using single hung windows from lowe’s. once built i laid them out to side. (couldn’t raise yet because i needed floor space for truss construction) now onto the trusses. built a gable jig right on shed floor..
